Hi there!
I’m Rebecca Leese, RN, IBCLC

I am the founder of Unity Lactation and Collaborative, a new lactation support center supporting Williamsport and the Lycoming County area.

I strive to offer lactation support and education to all parents, regardless of financial ability.

I offer appointments for self-pay (with potential insurance reimbursement) through Unity Lactation. I also offer my same appointments to those experiencing financial hardship through my nonprofit, Unity Collaborative. Our collaborative also hosts events and education programs for local families seeking lactation support.

We provide compassionate and evidence-based lactation support by an experienced Lactation Consultant (RN, IBCLC) that you can trust.

Services

Self-Pay: Self-pay appointments are booked online through Unity Lactation.
We will provide a lactation superbill for you to submit for potential reimbursement.

Low/No-Pay: Low/no-pay appointments are for clients experiencing financial hardship. Appointments are booked upon request through Unity Collaborative.

Insurance: We are working to be covered by insurance and plan to also allow for payment through insurance once this is complete.

IN-OFFICE

Join us at our lactation support center. We commit to being a welcoming safe haven for all parents and families.

IN-HOME

Stay comfy and cozy at home. We’re happy to come to you! Travel fees may apply.

VIRTUAL

We will use PracticeQ’s secure platform to communicate virtually.

Appointment Types

PRENATAL CONSULTS

For parents-to-be: we will use this time to review your medical history, chat through your expectations and any concerns, and build a plan to help you meet your goals.

BREAST/CHESTFEEDING CONSULTS

For parents and their babies: we will review your medical history, discuss your expectations and goals, measure your baby’s weight before and after feeding, and together, develop a care plan to help you meet your goals.

PUMPING & BOTTLE FEEDING CONSULTS

For parents who exclusively pump & bottle feed: we’ll review your expectations, discuss any questions, and build a pumping schedule, and also cover best practices on storing your milk and bottle feeding.

FLANGE FIT

Flanges are breast shields for when using a breast pump. When flanges fit properly, you can yield more milk and have a more comfortable pumping session. We’ll use this time to review your fit to help you meet your goals.

FOLLOW UP

All services above include 2 weeks of unlimited communication to help answer any questions or concerns you have along the way. We will keep in touch through a secure messaging app.
